This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on themakeupart.com, operated by Makeup Art Ltd, a Private Limited Company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 17077560), with registered office at 182–184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA, United Kingdom.
This policy is provided in accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1. Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of the date you received your order, regardless of your delivery region (United Kingdom, Europe, or international). This exceeds the 14-day minimum required under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Any request submitted after this period cannot be accepted.
2. Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Item must be unused, unopened, and in its original condition
- Item must be in its original packaging, intact
- Proof of purchase must be provided (order confirmation or receipt)
Non-returnable items include:
- Opened or used beauty and cosmetic products
- Unsealed hygiene products
- Gift cards
- Downloadable or digital products
- Items marked as final sale
3. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact our team within 30 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging
- Ship the item to the return address provided upon approval
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Defective or incorrect items: Return shipping is covered by Makeup Art Ltd
- Change of mind returns: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- International returns: Any customs duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the customer
We recommend using a tracked shipping service. Makeup Art Ltd is not responsible for items lost in transit during return.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or payment provider may require an additional 3–5 business days to reflect the amount in your account.
Partial refunds may be granted if the item is returned with signs of use or without its original packaging.
6. Exchanges
We accept exchanges. If you would like a different item, simply follow these steps:
- Return your original item following the return procedure above
- Place a new order for the desired item
Once your return is validated and your refund processed, you are welcome to finalise your new purchase. Our team is available to assist you at every step.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, providing:
- Your order number
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the damage or defect
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

You may cancel your order within 12 hours of placement, provided it has not yet been dispatched. Please contact us immediately via WhatsApp or at support@themakeupart.com for the fastest response. Once the order has been shipped, the standard return procedure applies.
